Amid raging protests across Delhi, Punjab farmers on Sunday evening gave a press statement on their response to Home Minister Amit Shah’s ‘conditional’ accord for a meeting to listen to their grievances against Centre’s contentious farm laws. Kisan Unions vehemently rejected Centre’s offer to move to the “open jail” in Delhi’s Burari ground and asserted that they will block all five entry points to the national capital.
केंद्र के तीन कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन कर रहे किसानों ने रविवार को फैसला किया कि वे राष्ट्रीय राजधानी के बुराड़ी मैदान में नहीं जाएंगे और दिल्ली की सीमाओं पर डटे रहेंगे। हजारों किसानों ने लगातार चौथे दिन रविवार को सिंघू और टिकरी बॉर्डर पर अपना प्रदर्शन जारी रखा। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने शनिवार को किसानों से अपील की थी कि वे बुराड़ी के संत निरंकारी मैदान चले जाएं। शांतिपूर्ण प्रदर्शन के लिए किसानों को इस मैदान की पेशकश की गई है।
